ADMISSION GUIDELINES

Every parent has to visit and fill out the enquiry form first. It includes details of the child and the parents. Kindly visit our website for the Online Admission Enquiry Form for online enquiry.

  • Admission to Pre-Nursery to KG will be through informal interaction of the parents and child with the Academic Coordinator and Teacher.
  • Admission to Grades I and above will be based on Observation/Test/Interaction as applicable. Date and time for the interaction/entrance test will be intimated to the parents.
  • The final decision of giving admission (and in which class) will be of the Principal based on the Test/Interaction. Parents are advised not to fill out more than one enquiry form for one applicant.

REGISTRATION

  • The registration form, completed in all respects, should be submitted to the school along with the required documents and Registration Fees in cash, within three days of purchase.
  • The registration form is not transferable; only the form issued by the school should be used.
  • Parents are requested to review the Prospectus and Admission Information Booklets before completing the Registration Form.
  • Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms will not be accepted.
  • Applying for registration/admission does not guarantee admission; it is subject to Observation-cum-Interaction and seat availability.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • Self-Attested Copy of the Birth Certificate (issued by the Municipal Corporation or any competent government authority).
  • Proof of Residence Address – Aadhar Card/Passport/Electricity Bill/Ration Card/Voter ID.
  • Photocopy of Child’s Aadhar Card – Original to be shown.
  • Medical Certificate.
  • Recent passport-size colour photographs of the candidate and both parents.
  • Original School Leaving Certificate (Class I onwards).
  • Latest Report Card of the last school attended (Class I onwards).

  • Fee may be deposited by online or by Cash at the school campus only. For IMPS/NEFT/RTGS, our account details are as follows: SBI, MAIN BRANCH JAMUI, A/C 43050546993, IFSC SBIN0000097.
  • All payments to the school are to be made in favour of “Ashoka Public School” payable at Jamui.
  • Please obtain proper receipts against payment made to the school.
  • Parents making payments online must share the UTR number to generate the receipt.
  • Fees once deposited are nonrefundable except caution money.
  • All school fees are to be deposited monthly as per the given schedule:
    • During admission, one month's tuition fees are to be deposited along with the other fees.
    • Monthly fees are to be paid before the 10th of every month without a late fine except in March, which would be by the 5th of March.
    • Fees paid after the 10th will be charged 10 rupees as a daily fine except in March, where the fine would be imposed after the 5th of March 10 rupees daily.
  • For new admission of any sibling child, 50% caution money will be taken.
  • Non-payment of Fees for a further 30 days after the pay-by date shall result in Cancellation of Admission. To reinstate the admission, a penalty of Rs. 2000/- will be charged in addition to the late Fee Payment Penalty.
  • The school reserves the right to revise/amend the Fee Structure from time to time, as per the CBSE guidelines.
