Why A House System?

Universal Expectations: Students learn the behavior expected of them to earn house points.

Culture of Belonging: Everyone is part of a team.

School-Wide Community: Students, teachers, and other staff are involved. Students interact with peers from different grades.

Character Building: Doing the right thing becomes “cool.” Students work towards communal victory and honor for their house.

Healthy Competition: Adults model a playful competitive spirit, celebrating wins, learning from mistakes, and accepting losses gracefully.

To promote team spirit, group loyalty, and healthy competition, students from Classes I onwards are placed in one of the four 'Houses.' Various inter-house competitions provide a platform for showcasing their talents.

House Details: There are four Houses in the School. Their names and associated colors are:

HOUSES COLOURS
Shivaji Red
Teresa Yellow
Ashoka Green
Raman Blue

Every House is headed by the House Captain and House Vice-Captain. The Houses also have House Prefects. A member of the staff, assisted by several other teachers (tutors), acts as House Warden. Points are awarded to students of each House throughout the year for co-curricular activities, games & sports.
